State of Champions

In 2008 Soccer in the U.S.A. was dominated by one State, Ohio. The Columbus Crew won the Supporters Shield and MLS Cup. Cleveland City won the USL 2 Championship and earned promotion to USL 1. In honor of the Nation of Domination that is the State of Ohio here is the latest bit to be cranked out of the propaganda Machine located somewhere in my basement.

Robbie Get Your Gun

Today the Polish Rifle became the fifth coach in Crew history. He's black and gold to the core and proved a capable coach even before he had time to learn under Sigi. I have to say i'm very excited to have a 13 year man at the helm. His heart is in this club and is the epitome of True Crew, I can't think of a better man to take over this club and hopefully guide it to another Championship season. So here's to you Robbie, and good luck!

Crew vs D.C. United

Well the last game of the regular season was quite an exciting one. I was able to bring two fellow OUers up to their first ever Crew game. The experience was mixed they both enjoyed the game but one was hit square in the back twice by flying beer in post goal/game celebrations. which is something we all know could be rather off putting. Anyways here are the photo's taken both by me, one of the newbies and a CSC dude.

Fifa 09, Massive Cover

Well the newest Version of Fifa comes out tomorrow, and while the game is absolutely gorgeous there is one problem. There is a Terrible F.C. player on the cover. So in response I bring you the first of what should be several Massive Alternate covers. The cover photo's will/are provided by Studio 79, the best Crew photographer in the biz for my money.

Crew dismantle the Revs

This game was the most amazing match I've ever been too. A totally dominating performance by the Massive Club over the second place revs. A grudge against the team that lead to so much controversy and earlier in the year. Getting kicked out for throwing my paper and tinfoil Machete on the Corner, followed by walking right back in the other gate. And finally being able to take a few of my buddies to their first Crew games and having them witness the enormity of the Columbus Crew and the Nordecke. The only thing that can truly sum up this game can be said in eight little words. Top of the league and Havin' a laugh.

Last night was absolutely perfect, the weather was great, the Nordecke was rockin' and the Crew scored two late to take their spot on top of the league. So in case you weren't part of the season high crowd of 17,000+ in attendance here are some pictures to give you an idea of the game's goings on.

What a ridiculously amazing game that was, I never thought I'd be so excited over a tie. It was a great night of an amazing atmosphere topped off with a dramatic finish. I'll try to get some new images up sometime soon, but as it turns out summer results in more distractions than when I'm back at OU. As such my bigsoccering and propagandering have suffered, fortunately though the crew have not, and without further babbling I give you images from Crew vs Shitcago.
